History

District Moga is the 17th District drawn on the map of Punjab State on 24th day of November 1995. Before this, Moga was the sub-division of Faridkot District. Moga has 2 Tehsils, namely Bagha Purana and Nihal Singh Wala and 2 Sub-Tehsils, namely, Badhni Kalan and Dharamkot.

 

Establishment of Family Court

Family Court, Moga came into existence on 15.09.2014 vide Govt. of Punjab Notification no.S.O.159/C.A.66/1984/S.3/2014.
